SCBA Flow Testing

Understanding SCBA Flow Testing

SCBA Flow Testing

Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) flow testing is a specialized, technical procedure that checks whether a self-contained breathing apparatus is delivering the correct airflow according to manufacturer and safety standards.

Annual flow testing is recommended and whenever a unit is placed into service, after repairs, or following suspected damage.

Tanks need to be refilled with fresh air on a regular basis, and our onsite SCBA flow testing inspections are done at your facility, fire station, or jobsite so you meet NFPA compliance requirements.

Flow testing complements regular visual inspections and helps meet NFPA safety requirements.
